Ralf Rangnick has already secured his first reinforcement to begin a new era at AC Milan in Dominik Szoboszlai, a report claims.
We reported on Tuesday via Vito Angele that Szoboszlai is on Rangnick’s wish list and the German has received reassurances from the club. The Rossoneri have already been in contact with the agent, collecting the player’s approval.
Szoboszlai has 10 goals and 16 assists in 37 competitive games for Salzburg this season and racked up four goal contributions earlier in the week (1G, 3A) as they routed Rapid Wien 7-2.
According to what is being reported by La Repubblica (via MilanNews), rumours from sources close to the Red Bull sporting world believe Szoboszlai is already secured as the first signing of Rangnick.
It comes amid reports that Lazio, Milan, Wolves, Napoli, PSG, Sevilla, Spurs, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are all now in the race to sign the Hungarian.
La Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com) reported yesterday that Szoboszlai has a release clause in his contract valued at €24m. The clause has to be paid in three instalments but is still a very affordable deal for interested clubs.
