Former AC Milan director Marco Fassone is suing the club for €30million in damages, according to a report.

According to La Repubblica, Fassone’s lawyers have requested the sum in relation to unfair dismissal.

Fassone was appointed under Yonghong Li’s ownership as CEO, with Massimiliano Mirabelli being instated as his right-hand man and fellow director.

However, in the summer Yonghong Li defaulted on loan payments, meaning US hedge fund Elliott Management took charge and both were removed from their positions.
