Repubblica: Five years, 20 new staff and €220m of funds – Rangnick’s five demands to Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick has laid down five key points that AC Milan must agree to before he accepts a role at the club, according to a report.

Rangnick appears to be the man in pole position to lead the Rossoneri on their latest revolution this summer, despite being publicly criticised by current technical director Paolo Maldini for his recent comments.

According to Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper La Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com) though, there are five key points that Milan must agree with and adhere to if the German is to accept a new challenge in Italy.

Rangnick wants full powers for five years over the market and the direction of recruitment as one point, plus a €140million revolution internally with 18-20 new staff members.

He wants to implement a unique tactical philosophy and wants a budget of around €75-80million for the summer transfer window, in which he must be allowed to sign players with an average age of 22.
