Repubblica: Ibrahimovic wants €1m per month to re-join AC Milan

AC Milan are struggling up front, having scored just 11 goals in 12 games. Therefore, the directors are at work to identify possible solutions ahead of the January transfer window, which could be decisive for the Rossoneri.

According to the newspaper La Repubblica (via MilanNews.it), confirming what several outlets have reported this morning, Milan are very interested in reuniting with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede’s contract with LA Galaxy expires at the end of December.

Furthermore, per the report, Ibrahimovic is willing to return to Serie A. However, he wants a salary of €1m per month to sign a six-month deal. Milan are ready to accelerate the negotiations, hoping to close a deal at €4m instead of €6m.

Bringing back the 38-year-old would be a sign of intent, as the management are desperate to turn things around. Currently sitting in 14th place, they can’t afford to lose and a leader like Zlatan would come in handy.
