AC Milan winger Rafael Leao was decisive again in the 4-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb last night and his contract renewal has become a priority, a report claims.
Leao got his first Champions League goal for Milan since the game against Atletico Madrid at San Siro last season and the circumstances of the goal – which came early in the second half – were quite bizarre.

As the winger brought the ball forward from his own half towards the penalty box he seemed to simply dribble in a straight line with defenders dodging out of the way, and then he slotted past Livakovic with composure to double Milan’s advantage. He then forced an own-goal late on after a run and cross.
La Repubblica (via MilanNews) writes this morning that the Portuguese was therefore decisive again and for this reason the renewal of his contract expiring in 2024 is urgently needed. As his performances on the biggest stage continue to get better, interest will grow.
