According to the latest reports out of Italy, AC Milan’s new technical director Leonardo could make a move for Mateo Kovacic, as the midfielder is on the Rossoneri’s radar.
In fact, as reported by La Repubblica, Milan could decide to launch an attempt to sign Real Madrid’s Kovacic, who has been linked with the San Siro side in the past. It seems, after signing Higuain and Caldara, Leonardo is not done just yet.
Kovacic joined the Spanish side back in 2015 after playing with AC Milan’s city rivals, Inter. He has since played 73 games, scoring only one goal in the process.
Due to limited playing time, the Croatian midfielder has asked to leave the Bernabeu, and thus a move is highly likely this summer.
