Paris Saint-Germain are ready to test AC Milan’s resolve with a big-money bid for Gianluigi Donnarumma, a report claims.
Donnarumma was heavily linked with a move to the Ligue 1 side earlier in the summer, however that speculation then went quiet.
It has since returned though as PSG are looking for a replacement for Kevin Trapp, who moved to Eintracht Frankfurt recently, as Alphonse Areola is not considered up to the task.
Milan reportedly have no plans to sell their 20-year-old star and instead will sit down for talks over a new deal, as his current contract runs out in 2021.
Despite this, La Repubblica believe that PSG are undeterred by those reports and are preparing a €55million bid for the Italy international.
They are pushing to complete a deal before the end of the transfer window, however it remains to be seen whether Milan will open up to the idea of a sale.
Donnarumma must also open up to the idea of a move, and widespread reports have suggested he has no intentions of swapping Italy for the French capital.
