AC Milan are in the middle of the Champions League race as the end of the season approaches, but Gennaro Gattuso’s future with the Rossoneri has already been decided no matter the outcome of the standings.
The San Siro side are currently looking to pin down a few options for the managerial position ahead of next season, with the likes of Allegri, Conte, Pocettino and Sarri being linked with the club.
As reported by today’s edition of La Repubblica, Gattuso’s successor will be decided during a meeting between Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis and the owners Elliott Management at the end of the season.
Therefore, the last three matches of the season will be Gattuso’s last as Rossoneri manager, having failed to live up to the task. The newspaper adds that the higher ranks of the club are pushing for a foreign coach to take over for next season.
