‘The right conditions’ – Sky journalist offers Fullkrug and Jovic updates

By Oliver Fisher -

Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano has provided an update on AC Milan’s pursuit of another striker after Alvaro Morata, while also touching on the future of Luka Jovic.

Not long after Morata’s signing had been made official, reports began to surface suggesting that the Milan management were not satisfied with just the signing of the Spaniard and that they wanted another centre-forward to come in too.

Despite the fact that Jovic has just renewed and scored some important goals last season while Noah Okafor did the same, the feeling is that there is a gap for a more traditional striker and links with Niclas Fullkrug then gathered momentum.

Peppe Di Stefano spoke on Sky from Milanello this afternoon to give his take on where things stand at the moment and if the German international could really arrive given the talk of Atletico Madrid being strongly interested.

“Milan must find another striker, Jovic returns tomorrow and it is still unclear what Milan will do if they keep three first strikers, or if they sell Jovic and buy a second striker,” he said (via Radio Rossonera).

“Fullkrug they want to do at a low price, they are looking for the right conditions. The Rossoneri will not be in a hurry after the purchase of Morata, even if there is certainly still that number 9 shirt free, so we can only consider the Milan market more than open.”
