RMC Sport: Boost for Milan as RB Leipzig show no willingness to close Simakan deal

AC Milan may still have a chance to snatch Mohamed Simakan from Strasbourg and RB Leipzig are not pushing to close a deal, a report claims.

It has been reported by a number of different sources that Simakan was the No.1 target for the Milan management in the January window, however the pursuit was complicated by the fact he will be out for two months with a minor knee surgery.

Fikayo Tomori arrived from Chelsea this month instead, but La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reported last week that the possible arrival of Simakan in the summer cannot be excluded.

According to the latest from RMC Sport (via MilanLive), RB Leipzig have not yet presented any official offer for Simakan and except for sensational twists, the defender will remain at Strasbourg at least until June.

This is good news for the Rossoneri, who can therefore return to the negotiating table in a few months if they so wish to do so.
