RMC Sport: Maignan leaves France-Austria at half-time due to calf issue

There could yet be more injury woes for AC Milan to contend with as Mike Maignan left the game between France and Austria at half-time due to injury.

Roberto Mancini’s comments about Tonali leaving camp earlier today caused alarm, given that left-back Theo Hernandez has sustained an adductor problem and will therefore miss the two matches that France will play, while Davide Calabria will also require rest over the break.

Mike Maignan did start the game against Austria tonight given that Hugo Lloris is out, but he was replaced at the interval. The Milan goalkeeper left the pitch at the Stade de France to make room for Alphonse Areola due to a problem in his left calf.

That is what is being reportedly by RMC Sport (via MilanNews), so once again Milan’s medical team will be waiting for an update regarding the condition of the player in view of the crucial upcoming games.
