A stretch of motorway in Tuscany has been blocked after there were clashes between AS Roma fans and Napoli fans as they travel to their respective games, a report claims.
As has been reported by Rai Toscana (via Milan News), a part of the autostrada between Monte San Savino and Arezzo has been blocked.
This is because there have been clashes between travelling Roma fans and travelling Napoli fans. The Roma fans are on their way to San Siro to face AC Milan, which kicks off at 20:45 CET.
The Napoli fans are headed to Genoa where they will be taking on Sampdoria at 18:00 CET.
Police had to be dispatched to the scene and various videos on social media showed fans running at the side of the road.
It is not yet clear whether this disruption will have any serious effect on the attendance of the match at San Siro or the game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
