Along with the rest of his teammates, Alessio Romagnoli put in a hard-working performance against Lazio. The captain did well to lead his team from the back and got a good rating in our player ratings.
The Rossoneri started the game well, taking an early 2-0 lead, but eventually lost it as Lazio equalised in the second half. Fortunately, Theo Hernandez came up big with his last-minute header, sealing the three points for his side.
As Inter won earlier this evening, the win means Milan are still at the top of the standings, ten points ahead of Juventus. The Nerazzurri are just one point behind and it will be very interesting to follow the second half of the season.
After the game, Romagnoli was interviewed by Sky Italia (via MilanNews) about the game and the Christmas celebrations that await. The players have done incredible things this year and the captain is at the heart of this.
