Romagnoli: “We needed three points at all costs; never nice to concede”

Alessio Romagnoli spoke to MilanTV after AC Milan’s win against Chievo, which assures that they will be ahead of Inter in the standings, heading into the derby next weekend.

“It’s a fundamental victory. We have to do better, we didn’t play very well today, but there are games when you just need the win at all costs. The important thing is to improve, we have to give everything in the next three months.

“The conceded goal? It’s never nice, we are sorry for that. We must improve, the league is very open, and we have to prove that we are worth it.

“Piatek? He is strong, as he has shown. Cutrone also gives his soul when he plays, we congratulate them both and we hope to continue like this.

“The derby? From tomorrow, we will only think about it. It will be a tough game, we must play as we always have done and try to win,” he concluded.
