Romano: Chiesa ‘seriously considering’ Serie A return with Milan watching on

Federico Chiesa is ‘seriously considering’ a return to Serie A this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, and AC Milan are one of the teams interested in the Liverpool man.

Chiesa joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Juventus last summer, but struggled to impose himself in the team with just 14 appearances. A muscle injury also kept him out for quite some time in the first half of the season, which obviously didn’t help.

In any case, given the lack of playing time and Liverpool’s capital gain opportunity, Chiesa has been linked with a return to Serie A. According to Fabrizio Romano, as cited by Il Garante, the winger is now ‘seriously considering’ a return to Italy this summer.

Milan and Napoli have both been linked with the player, as highlighted by the journalist, but there is no information on how concrete their respective interest is. What’s clear, however, is that a move to Serie A this summer is a very strong possibility for the player.

Chiesa recently praised the Rossoneri’s new head coach, Max Allegri, for his ability to build winning teams and perhaps the two can reunite after the time spent at Juventus. It would certainly be a good signing for Milan.

  1. To opose the negativity, I would gladly welcome Chiesa at milan. Can imagine the deal can be done with good conditions, due to his struggles last year, so there is very low risk. He can flop, but there is same probability he can be among the best in seria again.

Loan or low tranfer fee, take him for allegri

  2. This injury prone you are talking about is the same with your pulisic back then when he was at Chelsea, so stop this mockery. Cheisa is a good player, let’s hope good for him to stay injury free as pulisic at Milan

  3. An out of form Cheisa is better than most of our players last season, plus form or no form he can do better than chuck’s last two seasons. Cheisa has natural talent, but we could be getting the next puli or the next felix.
