AC Milan are in daily talks with the agent of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic regarding the potential of a summer move, a report claims.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest from Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri management are focused on trying to prise Milenkovic from La Viola.
The journalist adds that Milan are maintaining daily talks with his agent Fali Ramadani and they are not giving up on their pursuit, even if Fiorentina owner/president Rocco Commisso is asking for €40m to sell.
The request is considered too high by Paolo Maldini and co., so the idea is to try and find an exchange involving Lucas Paquetà, a player appreciated by Fiorentina, but Commisso is so far opposing the inclusion of the Brazilian in the Milenkovic operation.
Meanwhile, Romano is reporting that Milan and Arsenal have had a serious interest in Dayot Upamecano over the last few months, and although he has signed a new deal it has a €42m release clause.
