Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Yunus Musah is getting closer to leaving AC Milan and joining Napoli.
Musah had a difficult season with Milan in 2024-25, which followed a difficult debut campaign. He found himself down the pecking order in terms of midfield choices for large parts of the season, and ended up playing multiple positions from winger to full-back.

That is why it was a bit of a surprise when the news broke last night that the Serie A champions Napoli have reopened talks over a deal, and that it might be worth €25m. Antonio Conte is believed to be a big admirer of the United States international, which certainly plays a part.
In his latest YouTube video, the transfer expert Fabrizio Romano took stock of the negotiations between Milan and Napoli for Musah and confirmed that they are moving quickly.
“Musah on his way to Napoli. The sporting director of Napoli is in Milan to close this deal definitively, over 20 million euros, Milan and Napoli are working on the conclusion of the deal,” he said (via MilanNews).
“There is a total agreement with the player who wants to go to Napoli and is strongly desired by Antonio Conte. Napoli expects him soon, negotiations well underway.”

Sh!t player, I don’t know why we signed him in the first place
He is the biggest mystery of last two seasons…. few god games but most chaotic player from Poli times.. so many mistakes, red cards and caused goal thanks to him
Finally… in goal.com is article about progress of Theo to Atletico Madrid for around same price… it’s interesting for me that Max don’t want to try to convince Theo to stay … if he want Leao , who not also Theo?? 😃 but if we sell him for around 20m€ + bonuses, it’s okey…
Because this “top player” is forcing his move out.
Easy. Theo and Maignan have one year left on contract and don’t want to renew (or are asking for too much). Besides, Theo has had four coaches, and his attitude has not changed much. Maybe Cholo will straighten him out, maybe he won’t.
Didn’t lose any value on the market after 2 poor seasons at Milan.
Meanwhile, Theo and Maignan are worth less than what they were bought for.
I wish he was leaving Serie A.
Whatever happened to the links to Zhegrova? Can we use the Musah funds to bring him in?
What is funny to me is that it sounds like we might get as much money for Musah as for Theo!
that says a lot about Theo
Got a lot of potential, not too high salary.
There’s a good player in there for a coach to unlock. I fear Conte may be that coach. Probably best to part ways, but sad to lose another Italian speaker, could have been a great story.
Even Conte can’t fix stupidity.
Anguissa replacement/backup.
He’s been given plenty of minutes over the course of two seasons, and he was mostly way below par. For me, the biggest misfire of this management, along with Felix and the coach debacle.
Man this site is filled with weird fans or should i say hypocrites.
During the season, countless fans here were asking for musah to be sold.
Now that he’s gonna leave to napoli (rumoured to be requested by conte) suddenly he’s this wonder kid who has limitless talents but yet to be utilized by the previous milan coaches.
I’ve read all the comments above and NONE has mentioned him being a wonderkid with limitless talents
Wasn’t talking about this particular comment section tho
You are the one and only hypocrite here.
Why? You butthurt too they sell musah?
If he goes for 25m, this has to be one of the greatest transfer coup by us.
Also I’m trying to figure out what Conte sees in him but only time will tell. Or maybe he’s just a backup for Zambo as they’re playing in two competitions next year
ADL loosening the purse strings for Musah is the weirdest thing that will happen this year, but hey ho. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out lad 👋
Absolutely ridiculous transfer 🤣
At least everyone saying that Reijnders went for too low price is now even, because paying 25mil for Musah is out of this world. I wouldn’t be surprised if he would have gone for 10mil.
Vitiello: “Igli Tare has been working personally on the negotiation with Napoli for Musah for about ten days. As soon as he saw the opportunity, he began negotiating to sell Musah.”
That’s an actual SD at work.
I forgot, did Musah play really good when Milan vs Napoli last season? Because sometimes it happens that a club – or their manager – start gaining interest on a player, and often materialize the deal afterward, when a player played nicely in the match against that team. For Milan, some cases are Hauge, Okafor and RLC (that what I can remember, surely more)
Never forget Origi!!! He scored against us and charmed our management. 😀 😀 😀
Ah yes, Origi! How did I miss saying him lol
