RR: Elliott likely to keep a minority stake in Milan after Investcorp takeover

By Isak Möller -

Elliott Management are currently in talks with Investcorp, a Bahrain-based fund, over the sale of AC Milan. However, it seems the Singer family isn’t ready to part ways completely with the Rossoneri just yet.

Since taking over the club in 2018, Elliott have done a tremendous job and Milan is now a very valuable club. That’s exactly why Investcorp decided to approach the American hedge fund, ready to pay the €1.1bn asking price.

As reported by Radio Rossonera in their latest video, though, Elliott could keep a minority stake in the club. In fact, there is ‘a good chance’ that they will do so but for now, the timeline of their minority ownership is unknown.

Keeping Elliott in the club would most likely help Investcorp acclimatise to the inner workings of the club, seeing as the former have really changed how the club is run. It remains to be seen if more confirmations will arrive on Elliott keeping a minority stake.
