RR: Star duo likely to sign new deals at Milan amid links with Chelsea and PSG

By Oliver Fisher -

Star AC Milan duo Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessio Romagnoli are both likely to commit their futures to the club with a new deal, it is claimed.

Donanrumma’s deal expires in 2021 meaning the club must either find an agreement over a renewal or seriously consider selling this summer to avoid losing him on a free.

It was recently reported by Calciomercato.com that clubs such as PSG, Chelsea and Juventus are monitoring the situation but have not taken any concrete steps, but the feeling is that Donnarumma’s future will be hugely indicative of the future of the club and their stubbornness regarding a salary ceiling.

Meanwhile, reports from France suggested earlier in the month that Romagnoli remains in discussions with Milan to renew his deal which is currently set to expire in 2022, but Raiola may use interest from PSG in order to get a better deal for his client

Now, Radio Rossonera’s Pietro Balzano Prota – during a Twitch stream – has revealed more information about the situation surrounding the duo.

As per @SightsMilan, the journalist confirmed his belief that Donnarumma will remain at Milan and sign a new deal. This is because his desire is to continuing playing with the Rossoneri, couple with the fact that the club do not want to sell him in the current market.

Meanwhile, he also added with a degree of certainty that Romagnoli will pen a new deal too in what is a huge double boost for Milan supporters.
