Sacchi names two things Milan must do to win ‘battle’ against Dinamo Zagreb

AC Milan are currently preparing for what is a crucial clash away at Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League group stage. The Rossoneri will have to keep calm during the clash, as highlighted by Arrigo Sacchi.

After the defeats to Chelsea, Milan need to bounce back with a win against Dinamo Zagreb to keep their hopes of advancing alive, more or less. It won’t be an easy clash away from home, but the first leg ended 3-1 in favour of the Rossoneri.

Interviewed by Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, legendary Milan manager Arrigo Sacchi spoke about the difficult task. He did, however, state that Milan have returned to being a team just at the right time.

“After a few so-so performances, Milan seem to have returned to a collective. Brahim Diaz has shown that he’s in great shape, too bad he got injured and probably won’t be available for Tuesday’s match in the Champions League.

“In Zagreb, it will be a battle: Dinamo will make a ferocious pressing, will attack with their heads down and then Milan will have to keep their nerves in place, and not react to some provocation that surely will be there. Instead, respond play for play,” he stated.

Indeed, the big win against Monza is a good boost ahead of the difficult clash. Depending on the outcome of the other game, Milan need to come away with all three points from Zagreb.
