Bayern Munich star Mane names Milan forward as the best striker he has played with

By Oliver Fisher -

Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane has rather surprisingly named AC Milan striker Divock Origi as the best that he has played with.

Mané and Origi were together at Liverpool for six seasons, winning the Champions League and the Premier League together before they went their separate ways last summer, with the Senegal international joining Bayern Munich and the Belgian heading to Milan.

They were part of what was undoubtedly a golden era for Liverpool given the trophies won and the fearsome attack formed along with Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino among others, and Mane knows what Origi brought to the table.

The former Southampton man spoke to 1teamsports on TikTok and was asked for the best striker that he has played with. “The best striker I’ve played with is Divock Origi, great finisher,” he said (via PianetaMilan).

The issue is that Milan have not really seen much of that yet, given that he has only scored two goals since arriving and has been impacted by injuries, but he certainly has encouragement from his ex team-mates.
