Sassuolo have been forced to make an official statement having received a lot of demand for tickets ahead of Sunday’s game against AC Milan.
The Scudetto fever is rising for Milan and next weekend the Rossoneri will play the last and decisive match of the season in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo. Many fans are ready to make the trip to face the Neroverdi, creating a mass of requests that has sent their website into a tailspin several times.
Precisely because of the incessant requests from the Rossoneri supporters, Sassuolo have in the past few minutes found themselves forced to issue the following statement via Twitter…
“Given the many requests that are coming regarding the beginning of the pre-sale of #SassuoloMilan tickets, we inform you that for the definition of this date we are waiting for the programming, from @SerieA, of the day and time in which the match will be played,” they said.
Therefore, fans hoping to buy tickets will have to wait until the Lega officially confirm when the game will be played before. There will likely be huge demand given a draw would be enough to win the league, and when considering that 16,000 fans were present in Verona the number of requests could even exceed that.
Anyone on this message board going to go to the AC Milan bar in NYC to watch the Sassuolo match?
It’s at Football Factory at Legends — address 6 West 33rd Street near the Empire State Building.
