FT
Sassuolo 2-0 Milan

Really poor game from start to finish. Even before the red card, Milan struggled with containing Sassuolo, who did a really good job (and had some individual brilliance too). Champions League is now at risk again, and this time they might not bounce back…

90'

Four minutes added on.

78'

It’s been really poor from Milan here in the second half. The subs haven’t exactly helped either, so there will be a lot for Allegri and his staff to analyse at Milanello tomorrow…

77'
Yellow card for Loftus-Cheek

Loftus-Cheek gets a yellow card for diving. Looked like the correct decision.

66'
Final sub for Milan...

On: Ricci.

Off: Jashari.

59'
Three subs for Milan...

On: Gimenez, Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic.

Off: Leao, Fofana, Saelemaekers.

51'

Nearly a third for the home side, as Berardi’s failed shot almost ends up being a great cross.

47'
Goal again for Sassuolo, Lauriente

Really nice play there with a quick switch and then a one-two, allowing Lauriente to find the back of the net. Great finish towards the near post.

Sassuolo 2-0 Milan

46'
We are back underway

45 minutes to go, Milan need to do everything they can to rescue a point here. A win feels very unlikely.

Sassuolo 1-0 Milan

46'
One sub ahead of the second half...

On: Athekame.

Off: Nkunku.

Really difficult situation
HT
Sassuolo 1-0 Milan

Well, what can we say? Sassuolo had a very bright start to the game and could have scored more than just one goal. Then Tomori made an incredibly stupid decision by taking a second yellow, putting his teammates in an even more difficult spot.

Not that much happened after the red card, truth be told, but Milan are struggling to keep up with Sassuolo’s tempo (which is only natural with a man down).

48'

Saelemaekers fires wide from outside the box. Not the best of efforts, but at least something happened there…

46'

As you can tell from the lack of updates, been reasonably quiet since the red card actually, although Sassuolo’s dominance is clear.

45'

Three minutes added on.

26'

Pavlovic with a crucial block there to prevent Sassuolo from scoring a second. Gabbia mistimed that ball completely.

24'
RED CARD FOR TOMORI

What was he thinking there? After getting absolutely bodied by Lauriente, Tomori decides to bring him down on the counter. How did he not see that second yellow coming?!

18'
How did he miss?!

Leao picks up the ball, gets into a great position, but fails to hit the target! He really really needed to do better there.

17'

Nkunku appealing for a penalty after nearly going through on goal. Not sure if there should have been one, though, especially since Gabbia’s challenge earlier on Lauriente was let go.

13'

Sassuolo are playing some really good football here. Moving the ball around quickly, finding ways through Milan’s lines, and so on.

9'
Yellow card for Tomori

Really late challenge by the Englishman there, so even though it’s early, yellow card feels appropriate.

7'

Maignan is forced to a nice low save on Nzola. Quick counter by Sassuolo there.

4'
Goal for Sassuolo, Berardi strikes

It had to be him! He finds the back of the net with a lovely strike, but Milan are appealing for a foul in the build-up. Could easily have been a free kick for Jashari.

Sassuolo 1-0 Milan

We have kick-off!

The game is underway at Mapei Stadium. It’s a big chance for Milan to cement themselves in the top-four race, as well as to reclaim second place in the standings. Dai!

Sassuolo 0-0 Milan

    1. MILAN PASTI KALAH TELAK. SKOR 3-1 UNTUK SASSUOLO. SUDAH SAATNYA ALLEGRI MENGUNDURKAN DIRI DARI SEKARANG, DARIPADA DI PECAT SAMA FURLANI DKK. ALLEGRI LEBIH BAIK MELATIH TIMNAS ITALIA. SUDAH SAATNYA MILAN MERESET DARI PEMILIK CARDINALE, FURLANI,SCARLONI, DIREKTUR TEKNIK,DIREKTUR PENCARI BAKAT DAN MANAJEMEN TERENDAH. KALAU MILAN MASIH DI MILIKIN OLEH CARDINALE DKK,MILAN TIDAK AKAN MAJU DAN TIDAK AKAN JADI JUARA LIGA, TIDAK JUARA LIGA CHAMPION.

  1. It’s going to be 5-0. Jashari managed to lose the ball in a dangerous position within 5 minutes of starting. Saelemakers standardly bad defensively, just lets his man go and watches. He is not better than Theo defensively yet same people that sh*t on one love the other. 😂😂

    1. Milan is better with 10 men. He needs to sub Jashari and Saelemakers and maybe put Fofana in the DM position. But it won’t happen.

    1. Who are our best players? Almost everyone is having a bad second half of the season. Our best players this season have been: Modric, injured. Rabiot, did start, not brilliant today. Pavlovic, did start, arguably the only one with a passing score, today. Maignan, did start, could have done more especially in the second goal. Pulisic in the first half of the season but since late December, we really can no longer call him one of our best players. He’s been completely ineffective, including today.

As for players who didn’t start:
      Pulisic, came in, did nothing.
Ricci, Athekame, RLC, Gimenez: same thing.
      Fullkrug is useless.
De Winter, Odogu; actually arguably Gabbia is better than De Winter. Not sure if having De Winter would have made a difference. Odogu, too young and inexperienced. Bartesaghi, has had multiple recent defensive failures and his good crosses seem to have dried out.

So who exactly are our “best players” you are talking about who didn’t start today?

The truth is, our squad is not that good. It overachieved in the first half of the season, probably due to Modric and Rabiot rather than to anything else. And now Modric is injured and Rabiot seems to be less engaged (likely afraid of getting injured and missing the WC). Therefore, we regressed back to being a mediocre squad.

  2. I’m telling you this team will not score anymore for the rest of the season. We cannot score. How are the strikers not scoring.

  3. This team is not good ualifying for champions league. They will not score the remaining g games. Roma and Juve are going to overtake this team.

  4. So far this loss is not on Allegri. Rafa should have scored tomori should have not been careless. Saladmaekers has been garbage. Jashari shocking. The players are terrible.

    1. If we’re starting Jashari the rest of the year I really fear a collapse. Ricci seems to make better decisions so I’d probably start him. Nkunku and Estupinan have no business starting this game.

      1. It seems that Max felt secure in UCL qualification so he decided to put Estupinan and Nkunku on display to get them sold this summer. But the way they look no one is even going to want to take them on loan.

    2. Man why are you always so dramatic about Pulisic? He is a problem in a same way Leao missed today. If you don’t score as an attacker or winger you are the problem. Especially if it is 4 months.

      1. Just don’t want to see what happened to him at Chelsea repeat itself. If he’s fit, he should be on the pitch. Even when he doesn’t score, he works. Period. Full stop.

Pulisic should take Modric’s spot. We saw him play there last year. He only works well with Leao when they’re on opposite sides of the pitch.

  5. I honestly don’t have words for how bad this first half has been. I guess the one bright point is Mike made a nice save to keep it from going to 2-0.

      1. Same Lyon that was relegated by the federation because of their finances, was forced to sell all their better players, plays mostly young and unknown players, same Lyon that after all that is 3rd on the table and has a chance to qualify for the UCL?
As usual, no context in your yapping

        1. When were they relegated? Could you show me when did they play in Ligue 2? 😀 They obviously were not. Sell “better players” ? They sold 4 first team players of which 2 came a year before. That year before they spent 100M net to buy 6 new first team players. Mostly young ? Who exactly? Niakhite that came for 40M€ last season? Mata that is 33 or 34? Yaremchuk 30? Or by unknown players you mean Endrick the loan from Real Madrid that is the next big striker coming from Brasil? 😀 hahahahahahahaha Yeah, yeah, you are right. I couldn’t see the 33 year old kids that he is playing and those big sales they had to make after spending money last summer to strengthen the team. Let’s just count the timeframe that works for you.

        2. Do you just google and paste the first thing that comes up? The “ai” genius is not really a genius, don’t listen to it.

      2. You don’t get the point Allegri had one game per week and we are still at 67 points only four more points than what we had end last season!!

  6. I think Leao’s shot was blocked? Anyway, pathetic from Jashiri. This was his big chance and he’s blowing it. I said earlier in the week he has no personality. I expect Ricci or RLC will start the next game. Nkunku is fat and slow, but he was a little unlucky not to get a penalty. Tomori is a f’n imbecile. He knew he was on a YC. He went in with a high boot minutes before the second yellow. Brainless. Fortunately Como are in the midst of a terrible run, one win may be enough to seal a UCL place.

          1. Sure. I wasn’t saying what I said but what fits the future comments best. Keep in mind whenever you read my comments.

      1. He got no idea lol, vomited a bunch of nonsense.

Just hoping the other teams play bad, so to make to UCL? are we talking about “Milan” ?? lmao

    1. I find it hard to believe that most of you here didn’t watch the reply of the foul that lead to the second YC he didn’t touch the guy at all check

  7. The way Tomori practically asked for a red, makes me even suspects of betting fraud. It’s hard to believe that a professional player would be this stupid, so it feels intentional.

      1. 😂😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡 both of you. If he is bad or whatever you think ok. But this nonsense is for kids and low iq people. I know what you are.

        1. This has happened in recent world football. See Tonali and many others. Brazil’s Fabrício Bruno was recently convicted of exactly that: forcing yellows in the context of betting fraud. There was undeniable proof from texts the prosecutors recovered from his cell phone. This is not absurd or childish given that there are concrete and undeniable examples. So how can we be 100% sure that it is not Tomori’s case, after such a display today, which by the way is not the first time he does something like this? I merely pointed to the possibility; to a suspicion. I’m not saying with certainty that it is happening; merely that if this is just out of his stupidity, it’s such a high degree of stupidity needed for this, that one suspects of alternative explanations.

          1. “See Tonali”

So what happened? Tonali bet that Milan will win. And only that, multiple times. So you want to say that Tomori bet on Milan to win and then got a red card? Is that the example?

It’s ok, I understand you’re angry. But you shouldn’t accuse a guy that did nothing of fraud. Fabricio Bruno was never investigated about anything. You probably meant a different player.

Regarding is it possible, it’s possible, almost anything is. Maybe we live in a matrix and you’re not really you.

          2. Tonali was involved with betting, yes, not the same way. Woops, not Fabrício Bruno (from Cruzeiro) but rather Bruno Henrique from Flamengo; I mixed up their names. OK, Tonali was a less than precise example but Bruno Henrique wasn’t. That was a perfect example; it was exactly what Bruno Henrique was found guilty of, with UNDENIABLE proof, so no Matrix necessary. It did happen in reality.

          3. Yes, Tonali got banned because betting is illegal for professional players, especially if you play there. But what he did was he bet as a fan, in my opinion not even close to some other cases. But I don’t think Tomori has his family pressuring him to help them win some bets. Now if you think that it’s ok. But I doubt that could ever happen with Tomori. Like I’ve said, anything is possible but highly unlikely. Same as the matrix part I’ve used up there.

          4. Not that unlikely. Let me give you the names of 3 European players found guilty of forcing Ellie cards for betting, one of the as recently as 2925. There are others suspected of it but unproven, but these 3, indeed proven; with Bruno Henrique in South America, 4 players in world football convicted of proven cases, so what’s your pint about The Matrix? YOU are the one denying reality. Bradley Wood. Kike Salas. Kynan Isac. Look them up. Salas’ case in Spain was in 2025. Care to revise your Matrix jab? Or your childish / low IQ jab? I’m giving you concrete cases so how is this childish or proof of low IQ of my part? What I said is not absurd as it happens in world football. And these are some of the players caught and convicted. Likely there are other cases, never caught.

          5. No, I still think the same. Can you find some less known players than those? Hardly, you really found the big money making superstars as the example. So Tomori, a few weeks before England squad selection does this? While still having some chance? And negotiating a contract extension m? I have to repeat, I stand by what I said. I can’t say it’s impossible but that’s it.

        2. Pardon the typos in my last post with 3 more players convicted of forcing yellow cards for illegal betting. The orthography corrector played me some tricks. Stuff like Elite for yellow, pint for point, etc

          1. I don’t really care, it’s a fan forum where most people type on mobile. As long you use some punctuation and its readable.

        3. Fair enough, it’s unlikely. But like I said, not impossible. The moment pre-World Cup makes it more unlikely; good point. Still not impossible; some people may get a sense of being infallible regarding that, if they are never caught. Like I said, it’s not the first time Tomori practically begs for a yellow card. It actually happens quite often, in his case. OK, it’s probably stupidity. I just said, one needs such a HUGE degree of stupidity to act like this in such an important game, that one is justified in having a small degree of suspicion for an alternative explanation. But enough of that. Yes, Tomori is more likely guilty of stupidity than of betting fraud. We can agree on that.

          1. Yes. And Saelemakers is gulity of making that right side open today. Tomori had to cover for him how many times in 25 minutes? Just check that. Still should have been more careful but if you blame only him it is wrong.

        4. I didn’t blame only Tomori. In my ratings post, I only gave a pass (score of 6) to Pavlovic and failed everybody else; all other ten starters and 5 subs.

  8. Absolutely shocking game.

This whole club is just done. We won’t get champions league like this. Mark my words this club will implode reaching the finish line. Maybe we do need a revolution because the current team is shocking!

          1. You mean Father Christmas? 😀 Santa Claus is actually Saint Nicholas, but as most people are halfwits like you, somehow he became the Christmas guy…

  9. At least Allegri is being more aggressive offensively. More movement and players in the box. Still a pretty simplistic offense.

  10. The truth is, our players are terrible. And again we are seeing: no Modric, no fun. It may very well be that we only have 3, sometimes 4 consistently good players: Modric, Rabiot, Pavlovic (who really had a great season, has saved likely goals by opponents, scored a couple, and very rarely had defensive failures unlike all other defenders) and sometimes Maignan (who periodically fails too, but does earn some draws and wins). ALL other players have had frequent failures, this season. Not a single one of the others is without blame.

      1. Bartesaghi did have multiple defensive failures, often unaware of who is behind him and/or losing his man.

All Milan players had good moments. But all of them except for the 4 of whom I spoke, had frequent failures too. All players anywhere have failures including these 4. It’s a matter of frequency. Modric, Rabiot, Pavlovic and Maignan rarely fail. All the others have failed quite often, this season (and also had good moments but my post was focusing on frequency of failures).

  11. So far Tomori keeps doing Tomori things. Jashari looks nervous and out of place. And Fofana keeps making the wrong decisions. I feel like Puli should have started with Nkunku instead…

Not sure how Max claws his way out of this one.

  12. At the 60 min mark if you don’t score or if Sassuola score you need to role the dice and play three up front. Gimenez, Leao and Nkunku. But, it would be Fullkrug and not Santi. Seeing the halftime sub means that Pulisic is leaving as they are not risking him being injured.

  13. This team is so bad. We can’t create chances and if we finally do we can’t score. Our management didn’t do their job properly. They didn’t sign players to make the team better. They only gone for leftovers. The only positive signing was Rabiot and of cause Modric. Modric has only one season left in him.

    1. Just wait until we don’t win vs Atalanta as well. Then having to get results vs Genoa and Cagliari. Eventually those will be loses or draws too bye bye champions

      1. I told this was going to happen. Already after the Lazio match. People laughed at my comments. Well… Juve, Como & Roma aren’t laughing… Oh wait, YES THEY ARE!!!

  14. Ja sa čudujem ešte Ultras ako môžu podporovať takýto hnusný otrasný štýl futbalu.
Hnus hnus hnus odpad ! A to nie je prvý zápas .
Hanba futbalu takýto štýl hry !

    1. They thought this crap style gets them Champions League ball. Doesn’t matter, as you say that it is horrible to watch and really doesn’t use your players well..

  15. I honestly don’t understand what we’re doing here. Have we conceded the match? Are we hoping Rafa can score two goals on his own? Are we just playing defense to prevent a bigger embarrassment? I’m lost

    1. I think he’s pissed off at the effort. I personally put the blame on Tomori and Jashari. Leao has put in his usual effort which everyone always forgives..

  16. I’m convinced about Allegri doesn’t know anything but this 3-5-2. Is only system he knows . If we want to surprise Sassuolo today a 3-4-3 was more suited but…Allegri is a stubborn limited dinosaur .

    1. what have alegri with misses chances?? did you stupid blame coach? managment is disaster and 80% players at club.
Coach is best thing what we have but you are idiot like 90% suporters and dont know anything just blame coach.
How stupid you can be and blame coach for today game?

      1. “How stupid you can be and blame coach for today game?”

Does Sassuolo have better players and a superior roster? Nope. Then think again whether you can blame the coach or not. 🙄

  17. The truth is, UCL is not guaranteed. I won’t be surprised if we lose the last 3 games and are surpassed by Juve, Como and Roma.

    1. I’ve been saying g this 3 months ago. The way this team plays is not good enough. We have been over achieving the first 20 games of the season. The last 15 have shown the true colors and quality of the team.

      1. It has been pure sh1te since Pulisic stopped scoring. It never looked good but at least we were scoring last year. After his injury? LOL. A fng nightmare. All team. Every player. Not to mention the “let’s try not to lose this one”-coach who doesn’t care about winning.

  18. If you take away the three or four miracle saves Mike made early in the season, even the first half of the season would look different.

  19. This was simply a refusal to work. I don’t know if ALL the players or the coach is to blame.
Even the village clubs in our Austrian league are willing to do more (and also do not play much worse …)
