Paolo Scaroni has certainly not helped himself today, with the AC Milan president refusing to speak about football.
The stock of the management is getting lower on an almost daily basis at this point, and rather than trying to better their image, things are only getting worse. For example, before the Coppa Italia final, Scaroni threw shade at Boban after being criticised.
In the position which he is in, this is a poor look for the president. However, with the fans inside the Olimpico only chanting against him anyways, positive words would have had little effect.
Of course, he is not the only member under fire currently, which is certainly not a good thing. In fact, finding a ‘popular’ member of the club’s hierarchy is certainly a struggle.
Speaking at the ‘Play for the Future’ event hosted by Fondazione Milan, Scaroni spoke to journalists, and Milan News have his words.
“Today, I am here to expand an initiative that we launched two and a half years ago. An initiative that wants to use sport as a tool for the social reintegration of young people.
“Up to now, we have worked in three cities: Naples, Catania and Palermo, targeting those young people who are the subject of alternative punishments, therefore who are not in juvenile prisons. This year, we also start with Milan and we also address the young people in these penitentiaries, such as Beccaria. So the initiative has been a great success, and we have been asked to expand it, which we are happy to do.
“In the end, for Fondazione Milan, it is an organisational effort more than a financial o,ne and it gives extremely important results in a sector that of prisons and youth punishments, which is in great need of intervention.
“So we are very happy to have been the initiators and to have been supported also by the FIGC. A great result as a small investment of money, but a great one of organisational commitment, which is what we give.”
The work of Fondazione Milan…
“Fondazione Milan does many things. Over the last 20 years, we have invested 12 million euros in social initiatives, in Italy and abroad. Always with the same goal: to use sport as a tool to help give hope to fragile communities.
“For example, here in Milan, around Milan, we have built 6 soccer fields in somewhat difficult neighbourhoods of the city. We make the fields with synthetic grass so that they do not need maintenance: by doing so, we have immediately created a meeting place and entertainment that changes the map of the neighbourhood.
“I almost always go to inaugurate them, and every time I go home happy with what we have done.”
A comment on Boban’s words?
“You can imagine if I’m listening to them.”
Are you sorry about this season finale?
“No, no, no, no. We don’t talk about football. The understanding was that we didn’t talk about football, right? ”

Whoever thought it was wise to hire him as president should be fired first.
Scaroni has added zero at Milan and is president?
Scaroni, Furlani, Ibrahim, and of coarse Moncada should answer for the disgraceful season were Milan have failed completely!
Cardinale should step in and take charge like the owner businessman he professes to be!
Milan is a train crash that this management have caused and no one will put their hand up to fix!
Scaroni is the perfect president for THIS Milan. He shows in a heartbeat how (in)competent our management really is. Joke of the Serie A. Even Venezia has a more ambitious management than us.
You cannot talk about football because you know nothing about it.
Hmm Milan the first to work with kids in prison. And we are off …
Captive fan base any one?
They will fit right in with the Curva.
Anyone else …
“The agreement was we don’t talk about football…”
Yes, Paolo clearly that was the agreement. Start there for next season.
“The agreement was we don’t talk about football…”
First rule of Milan football management, “Don’t talk about Milan football management”
Scaroni is such a joke, so arrogant too

– Are you sorry about this season finale?
“No, no, no, no. We don’t talk about football. The understanding was that we didn’t talk about football, right? ” –
so…. where’s Michael Jordan?
it’s not like he doesn’t want to talk about the past season. it just he doesn’t know anything about it and he doesn’t really care about it.
In the mean time, Roma is getting Jürgen Klopp as a coach, Bravo Milan
Do you really believe the fake news? Klopp at Roma. Then expect Messi at Lecce.
It isn’t fake news. How about you comment somewhere else? Here we don’t like Inter s**t. You stink
Sacking Pioli was a mistake ,at least he could have kept us in the CL position.
Taught so to honestly there should have kept him till we are ready to get someone better
With hie 5-0-5 formation?
Don’t be delusional.
Every manager has been doomed to fail with this leadership.
I am speechless. He doesn’t want to talk about football… Does he know anything about football?
Inter has Marotta…. Aaaaaand we have Scaroniii hahahaha.
Whoever gave this fraud a job should be fired and investigated for non transparent recruitment. I don’t believe he was the best candidate of out there by the time and still
The most useless person in Milan management. Cardinale cannot be removed, so at least remove this guy first.
You might not agree with Maldini and Boban, but you cannot deny that they are honest people. If both of them say Scaroni is not up to Milan’s standards, then he should be let go.
Roma appointed Klopp as the new manager????????? It is time to really get rid of Redbird…
Kardinale zaslužuje upravo ovakvu situaciju ! Svi moraju dobit otkaz i samo čekam kada će se to dogodit !
