Schira: Marseille star to leave for free as Milan table offer worth €3m per year

Florian Thauvin has been on the radar of Milan for a very long time, but it seems the perfect opportunity to sign him has emerged. In fact, his contract with Marseille will expire in the summer.

It’s well known that the Rossoneri are looking to reinforce the right-hand side of their attacking trio, as Samu Castillejo simply isn’t good enough. Alexis Saelemaekers has been impressive, but he’s also a very different type of right-winger.

Therefore, as reported by Nico Schira, Milan will be hoping to welcome Thauvin in the summer, having already tabled an offer. It’s a four-year contract (until 2025) worth €3m per year, which they hope can be enough.

Sevilla are also interested in the 28-year-old but the feeling is that Paolo Maldini and co are in pole position. Either way, the interest in Thauvin is concrete and as he’s getting ready to leave France, Milan will try to secure him.
