Serafini highlights three things Milan have done well in the Champions League

AC Milan have started their Champions League adventure well, as opposed to last season, with one win and one draw. It’s clear that the Rossoneri have grown, as argued by the pundit Luca Serafini.

Stefano Pioli’s men claimed their first win in this season’s UCL earlier this week as they beat Dinamo Zagreb by three goals to one. It was a strong and confident performance, following up on the draw away against Salzburg in the first round.

In his latest editorial for MilanNews, MilanTV pundit Luca Serafini highlighted the fact that Milan have shown impressive growth recently. Not just because of their positive start in the league, but above all in the Champions League.

“In the wake of the experience gained a year ago, the Champions League has repeated already known indications even if the group has taken a different turn. Chelsea, for example, have already dropped 5 points between Dinamo and Salzburg.

“The results of other groups also confirm these difficulties in taking games for granted. The Rossoneri have done three things well: attitude, interpretation (reading the game) and above all patience. On the pitch, you have to know how to hit, but also when to sit back,” he stated.

Milan will face Napoli on Sunday evening and they will do it without their star Rafael Leao. The Rossoneri have overcome many difficulties this season already, though, from conceding the first goal and playing with one less man.
