Atalanta still harbour interest in signing Aster Vranckx from Wolfsburg even though AC Milan are close to agreeing on a deal, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport this morning (via Milan News), La Dea are still interested in signing the Belgian midfielder from the Bundesliga side.
Reports today have confirmed that Milan are very close to agreeing on the deal with Wolfsburg for the 19-year-old. He would join on loan with a right of redemption set at €11 million although that could be a little higher if Wolfsburg decide to ask for more.
That deal would then conclude Milan’s summer business unless there was a major surprise in the market.
Milan will have to hope that Vranckx’s desire to join them is enough to fend off the interest from Atalanta. It is not clear if Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have made much headway in regards to an agreement with Wolfsburg.
