AC Milan seem to have already formed a plan for Francesco Camarda early in the summer window, involving a renewal and a sale.
It was a strange season for Camarda who shuttled between the first team and Milan Futuro for the first part, then made his first league start in a draw against Cagliari, before becoming mostly an unused substitute in 2025.

He had a positive substitute appearance in the last game of the season against Monza and this led to suggestions that the new head coach Massimiliano Allegri could give him more chances, but also that he might be ready for a loan spell.
Renewal and a loan
According to Tuttosport (via MilanPress) Camarda’s immediate future seems clear: a contract extension until June 2028 with a pay rise to around €500k net per year (or a little more) and then experience on loan in Serie A or Serie B.
The agent of the 17-year-old – Beppe Riso – has already met with Igli Tare to define the strategies for his client’s next season. In addition to that, there seems to be a queue of clubs looking to take him on loan.
Lecce are in pole position to secure the youngster, after narrowly avoiding relegation to Serie B. The Giallorossi will have to replace Krstovic and have already expressed their interest in Camarda.
Pisa and Udinese are the other two Serie A teams interested to date. In Serie B there is no shortage of contenders: Spezia are in the running, but Carrarese are also interested.
That is why I like Spanish coach. They always have the confidence to introduce young players systematically and functionally without negative impact on the team performance and players confident. Most of this Italian coaches are archaic in their playing system and approach to games. This is the reason why there is lack of potent strikers and attacking midfielders in Italian national team.
The situation Milan could prefer direct swap camarda to Lucca. It would be nice.. hehehe
Top Serie B club would be better than a poor Serie A one, choose wisely
Agree. A club fighting for relegation might put too much pressure on him. A club winning game after game in Serie B might be better for development at his age than a club losing game after game in Serie A.
I hope there will be a recall clause inserted if he doesn’t receive a minimum of minutes played to ensure we don’t stunt his development by loaning him out. It would be ideal to send him somewhere that would implement him in their lineup in a similar fashion we intend to use him here as well once he is more ready.
Best thing is to ask his agent to try and secure a move to Dortmund on a permanent basis. Think Kerkez and that defender that plays for Anderlecht (I don’t remember his name). Point being that you can’t keep waiting for Milan. I don’t remember who said it but they did say that if you’re good enough, you’re good and age has absolutely nothing to do with it. If he’s good, let him be part of the first team but if he’s not then stop the hype. If I were in his shoes, I’d move away cuz I can’t think of two players who made the first team from the futuro or the primavera. The fans will hate you and call you a snake but whatever, it’s your career we’re talking about here. All they do is send players out on loan till there’s nothing left of that player. That guy who joined Monza recently was being hyped as a good midfielder but guess what, he’s 20 now and has no clear path to the first team. How does the likes of Benfica do it? They sell players for millions but how do they do it? Magic?
