Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi publicly expressed his desire to sign Milan centre-back Gabriel Paletta, as talks of a verbal agreement between Milan and Lazio for the player surfaces.
In his pre-match press conference against Chievo Verona, Lazio manager Inzaghi asked Lazio management for two new signings, one of which he named as Gabriel Paletta. Here is a selected quote from the press conference regarding the Milan player:
“We have talked about Paletta, he has been in Italy for a long time and has experience, so he’d be ready to use straight away. It’d be important to get an experienced player who doesn’t need time to settle in.”
Meanwhile, Italian news outlet Il Messaggero reports that there exists a verbal agreement between the managements of both Milan and Lazio to sell the 31 year old for a sum of €1.5 million.
