Sky: AC Milan’s new shareholder; difference between Malaysian and American offer

By Isak Möller -

According to Sky Italia, Milan are in advanced negotiations to find a minority shareholder for the club, who could help Yonghong Li.

The first track leads to a Malaysian businessman, living in Singapore, where the intermediary between Milan and the investor is super agent Jorge Mendes. However, there are still a few clauses on the future that need to be clarified in this case.

The second track, on the other hand, leads to an American entrepreneur who is interested in investing in AC Milan. The main difference between the two possibilities is the fact that the American would join the Rossoneri to help cover the debts and refinancing, without addressing a discussion about the future as of now, unlike the Malaysian, whose plan is to become the majority shareholder in the future.
