Sky: AC Milan’s probable XI for Cesena clash

By Isak Möller -

According to reports from Peppe Di Stefano of Sky Italia, Giampaolo is expected to go with a similar XI to what we have seen during pre-season tomorrow, as Milan will take on Cesena.

It will be the Rossoneri’s last friendly match ahead of the Serie A opener next week. Therefore, it will be the last chance to test the players, although it seems like Giampaolo has a pretty clear picture of which players will start against Udinese.

Once again, even though Krunic started last time out, Borini will take the field as a mezz’ala. The Italian will play alongside Biglia and Calhanoglu in the midfield, as we have seen several times during the course of the summer.

Likely AC Milan XI (4-3-1-2): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Borini, Biglia, Calhanoglu; Suso; Castillejo, Piatek.

Up front, Piatek is back after starting on the bench last time out, while Castillejo keeps his spot. Notably, Bennacer and Leao have been left out of the squad, but Duarte is included. The Brazilian defender is expected to make his debut tomorrow.
