Sky: Calabria will miss out on Italy’s next game as injury emerges

By Isak Möller -

Davide Calabria came off the bench in Italy’s game against Switzerland last night, just like Sandro Tonali. The right-back only got ten minutes on the pitch, though, but it was enough for him to sustain an injury.

Just like the last international break, Calabria will be forced to sit on the sidelines this time out due to injury. According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, a physical problem was discovered this morning and further tests will be made. Update: He has left the training camp.

The right-back is very likely to miss out on the clash against Northern Ireland on Monday and we can only hope that he will be fit for fight next weekend. Milan will face Fiorentina way from home and could use their vice-captain.

The Rossoneri have had their fair share of injuries this season and it would be a blow to be without Calabria. Pierre Kalulu is the natural replacement and he has started the season quite well.
