Sky: Chiesa wants to stay in Italy but Fiorentina president asks for €90m – the latest

AC Milan have not held talks with Fiorentina over a deal for winger Federico Chiesa at the moment, according to a report.

Milan have been strongly linked with a move for Chiesa over the last couple of days, with suggestions that negotiations with agent Fali Ramadani are ongoing.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) went big on Tuesday by reporting that Milan have put forward an offer to Fiorentina for Chiesa, consisting of Lucas Paqueta (valued at €20-25m) plus €20m cash and another €10m bonuses, but this was denied by Viola president Rocco Commisso.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio for Sky Italia (via MilanNews),  Milan are not in talks with Fiorentina over the 22-year-old just yet.

in July, Inter contacted Fiorentina about the Italy international to ask for information but Commisso asked for €90million. This figure could go down with time, but not enough for the operation to be possible for any Italian clubs.

That being said, Di Marzio adds that the player would prefer to stay in Italy.
