Sky journalist expects four injured Milan players to be out until 2024

By Oliver Fisher -

As seems to happen every season, AC Milan have found themselves in an emergency with injuries currently affecting each department and there are several long-term absentees.

On Sky (via Radio Rossonera), Manuele Baiocchini addressed the more critical issue of who will be away from the pitch for some time to come. He started however with an update on Samuel Chukwueze, who worked in the gym today and is feeling better.

He has also done work on the pitch and while he will miss Udinese and PSG, he could be available against Lecce in the final game before the international break, which will be a welcome return for Pioli.

Regarding Pierre Kalulu, the defender and the medical staff are considering whether to operate or not on the injury he sustained in the Napoli game, but most likely they will operate The final decision will be made either today or tomorrow.

There are now four players whose 2023 is over: Kalulu, Marco Pellegrino, Ismael Bennacer and Mattia Caldara, who has never even played. Marco Sportiello, however, will return in December.

      1. He might. There are a lot of games in December and he might get a minute or two if fit. Actually I’d wager he will get minutes in December. 50€
