Sky: Ibrahimovic meets Milan directors to give his account of altercation with Inter’s Lukaku

Zlatan Ibrahimovic met with the Milan management today to clarify what happened with Romelu Lukaku last night, a report claims.

The Swede was involved in a very heated altercation with his former Manchester United team-mate just before the half time break in the Coppa Italia quarter-final, with some pretty strong words exchanged including Lukaku threatening to shoot Ibrahimovic in the head.

According to Sky (via Football Italia), the 39-year-old striker gave an explanation to Milan directors after today’s training session as he met with them at Milanello.

He was asked to give his account on what happened during the blazing row, in which several other players ended up being involved. Ibrahimovic has also denied he racially abused his opponent via a post on social media, which puts an end to the unfounded rumours that he had uttered some kind of slur to his opposite number.

Reports suggest that the punishment might not be over yet, too.
