Sky: Ibrahimovic negotiated renewal of Milan contract without agent Mino Raiola

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic negotiated the renewal of his contract at AC Milan without agent Mino Raiola, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have announced that the Swede has renewed his contract with the club, which means he will remain into his 40s. Ibrahimovic signed his contract at Casa Milan yesterday evening before revealing his delight at extending his stay with the club he considers to be ‘home’.

According to what is being reported by Sky (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic dealt with his contract renewal personally with Paolo Maldini, Frederic Massara and Ivan Gazidis. The Swede did not use the services of Raiola in particular but instead he carried out talks with the lawyers of Raiola’s team team.

The report adds that the demands of a player who will be 40 in October are less than those of a player who is not far off half his agent, referring to Gigio Donnarumma. On the goalkeeper, Sky add that we must not only see how much Milan offers Donnarumma, but we must also see if there are other clubs that want to overcome the Rossoneri’s proposal.
