Sky journalist reveals feelings about speaking to Ibrahimovic off camera

By Nikita Fesyukov -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a very hot topic in the current AC Milan environment, but also in Italian football as a whole. The Swede’s future at the San Siro is uncertain in connection with the likely arrival of Ralf Rangnick at the club and the next months will determine the outcome.

In the meantime, the 38-year-old attacker has launched several controversial declarations to the media. Firstly to Sportweek, in which the Swede questioned the future of the club and also claimed ‘he does not know who Rangnick is’.

Secondly, Ibrahimovic spoke to Rai Sport, once again provoking Rangnick, while also praising Stefano Pioli and comparing him to his former coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Finally, he also spoke to Sky Sport (via milannews.it), in particular to journalist Manuele Baiocchini. The journalist later spoke about his feelings to the channel (vi milannews.it) after pausing to speak with Ibrahimovic with the cameras off.

“The feeling I had, stopping to talk a few minutes later with Ibra, is that e really wanted to send yet another message to Gazidis, as if to say: ‘Dear CEO, I’m fine here and motivated. If you want me, I am available.’,” he said.

“Then in another passage of the interview, he reiterated that the whole situation does not depend on him only, but on Milan,” Baiocchini added.
