There seems to have been a U-turn regarding the outlook on Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa in view of Sunday’s match between AC Milan and Juventus.
There has been doubts about the fitness of the duo for over a week now. Chiesa was absent in the last game against Torino as a precaution and he was meant to feature for Italy in the international break, but he opted to head back to Turin so he could carry on recovering.
Vlahovic was called up by Serbia but he opted not to go as he feared for his fitness, and yesterday Gianluca Di Marzio reported that both are major doubts for Juve’s trip to face Milan.
As Sky (via MilanNews) now report, Juventus will resume training in view of Sunday evening’s game and Vlahovic’s return seems imminent.
For Federico Chiesa a lot will depend on how his muscle feels and therefore we will have to wait to see if he can feature against Milan, but there is a cautious optimism for the winger too.
wonderful!
Pioli’s another real test after inter
Awesome news, this is what we all wanted to see. Milan at full strength facing Juventus at full strength. Pioli’s first real test after the Inter game.
Dortmund and Newcastle weren’t real tests?
I am talking about domestic league, not Champions League. Winning the league is much more important.
We’re not at our full strength. Maignan and Theo are suspended. Bennacer, Krunic, Kalulu, Chuk, RLC are injured.
One day they’re out, one day they’re in, tomorrow they will be out again. Why don’t we just wait until the pre-match article the day before when all of this will be settled?
gotta get the daily clicks in.
