Paolo Maldini has been in search of a sporting director for the new management and Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare has been the prime target. But today he’s turned Milan down according to Sky.
Igli Tare has allegedly been tempted by joining the Rossoneri as the new sporting director. In the last week he’s taken time to reflect on his future and decide on what the next step should be. Today it was clear; he stays on as Lazio’s sporting director.
For Milan there hasn’t been much speculations apart from Tare to be the new sporting director. A report from Gazzetta dello Sport the three alternatives Milan and Maldini are looking at now are former Roma director Frederic Massara, Atalanta’s sporting director Giovanni Sartori and Sampdoria’s sporting director Carlo Osti.
It remains to be seen where Maldini takes his search for the new Rossoneri sporting director next.
