Junior Messias has sustained a muscle injury, which was revealed yesterday, and he could miss out on AC Milan’s game against Fiorentina. He will be evaluated at Milanello today, a report claims.
Yesterday afternoon, Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews) reported that Messias was forced to withdraw from the training session after experiencing a muscle problem. A blow for the Brazilian, who has done quite well in recent games.
According to a follow-up report from Sky, as cited by Francesco Nasato, Messias will be evaluated by the medical staff at Mikanello today. The Rossoneri will have a training session prior to Stefano Pioli’s press conference at 14:00 CET.
Should he fail to make it, then Brahim Diaz will start on the right flank, as per Gazzetta Dello Sport. Rade Krunic is currently the frontrunner for the No.10 role and not Charles De Ketelaere, who has struggled recently.
