Sky: Milan confident Ibrahimovic will say yes to return; Napoli still interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are optimistic about receiving a positive response from Zlatan Ibrahimovic regarding a return to the club, a report claims.

As we revealed, Ibrahimovic is Milan’s main target for the January transfer window, with the club’s owners Elliott Management agreeing to add more experience to the squad in the upcoming window.

Il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews.it) recently reported that the dream of the Rossoneri leadership is to present Zlatan on December 15 at the club’s 120th birthday event.

According to reports from Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – there is ‘a justified and growing optimism’ regarding the Ibrahimovic affair from Milan’s point of view.

Despite the high economic demands of the Swedish striker, they believe that he will choose with his heart.

However, the report also mentions to pay attention to the competition, as Napoli are always monitoring the situation.

The current offer from Milan is a six-month deal with option for an extra year. The total would be €6million net for the 18-month deal, according to widespread reports.
