Sky: Milan team doctor departs for Belgium to check on Origi’s condition

AC Milan have sent a representative of their medical staff to Belgium, where Divock Origi is currently undergoing treatment for his tendon injury. Therefore, more updates should arrive soon.

The Belgian striker has struggled with injuries since the start of the summer and his start to the Milan adventure has thus been far from ideal. One week ago, Milan decided to send him to Belgium for proper treatment for his tendon issues.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by FraNasato, a member of Milan’s medical staff will travel to Belgium in the coming hours to assess Origi’s condition. Medical staff from the Belgian national team will also be present.

It seems the former Liverpool man could be back after the break, hopefully sooner rather than later as Olivier Giroud is currently working overtime. The experienced striker made his seventh consecutive start against Napoli, which is even more remarkable if you consider that there have been many mid-week clashes.
