Sky: Milan in talks with Chelsea over triple deal involving striker, midfielder and €40m forward

AC Milan are in talks with Chelsea over possibly signing three of their players this summer, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio gave an update on Milan’s market during Calciomercato L’Originale for Sky (via MilanNews) and reported that Milan are looking for Calhanoglu’s replacement and the first name on the list is Ziyech. The Moroccan is the favourite but also the most difficult, given that just a year ago Chelsea made a €40m investment to sign him from Ajax.

The Rossoneri have also closed an agreement with Olivier Giroud, which is a two-year deal at €3.5m net per season plus bonuses. The Frenchman must now however convince Chelsea to let him leave on a free transfer.

There is the possibility that a triple package of sorts could happen as Milan are also keen on Tiemoue Bakayoko to reinforce the midfield, a player who spent the 2018-19 season on loan with the Rossoneri. It will not be easy, but the two clubs will continue to talk about it.
