AC Milan are hunting for Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement and have drawn up a list of potential targets, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes the Milan management are evaluating several profiles, including for example Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid and Marcel Sabitzer of RB Leipzig.
Milan tried for Ceballos back in summer 2019 and this time they might be more lucky as relations between Milan and Real Madrid are excellent, as evidenced by the negotiation for Brahim Diaz. Sabitzer was also linked to the Rossoneri a year ago when it seemed certain that Ralf Rangnick would be the new head coach, and while the Austrian still has a rather high asking price, the scenario could change from mid-July onwards as his contract expires in 2022.
Hakim Ziyech is an option as he is set to leave Chelsea but the Blues would like to cash in on his sale, though they could open to loans with option to buy if offers do not arrive. In the last few hours, the names of Rafinha of Paris Saint-Germain and James Rodriguez of Everton have also appeared.
