Sky: Milan schedule new talks with Nottingham Forest over Chelsea-owned midfielder

By Isak Möller -

Tiemoue Bakayoko is increasingly likely to leave AC Milan earlier than expected as Nottingham Forest have expressed their interest. New talks have been scheduled between the clubs, a report claims.

The midfielder arrived from Chelsea on a two-year loan deal last summer but after a disappointing 2021/22 season, he’s no longer part of Milan’s plans. The Rossoneri have thus been working on finding him a new destination lately.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by FraNasato, Milan will hold new talks with Premier League side Nottingham Forest next week. They are willing to let Bakayoko leave early and the move will also have to be accepted by Chelsea. Nottingham just announced the signing of Remo Freuler from Atalanta, though, which is worth noting.

Bakayoko didn’t feature in the last two friendlies of the pre-season, despite one of them being for the reserves, and he didn’t feature in the season opener yesterday. He’s destined to leave the club this summer, in other words.

  1. FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT, I BELIEVE IF THIS DUDE IS GUIDED RIGHT BY THERAPY TO BOOST HIS MORALE LIKE GATTUSO DID, ALSO THE COACH LETTING HIM KNOW HE HAS SOME DELICATE JOB TO DO FOR HIS TEAM, WE MAY SEE THE FORM HE ONCE HAD, THAT IS ON THE ASSUMPTION WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS TO GET A REPLACEMENT
