Italian football will soon be back in action again. In fact, Milan will kick things off with the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Juventus, which will take place on Friday next week.
Stefano Pioli is currently working with the players to get them ready for the game, which isn’t easy after such a long stop. The first leg between the sides ended 1-1, meaning the Rossoneri will have to get on the scoresheet to stand a chance of advancing.
According to Sky Italia, as cited by Milanlive.it, the manager has scheduled an in-house friendly for Saturday. Unlike in some exercises during training, the game will be eleven against eleven and this will give Pioli important answers.
In particular, it will be interesting to see the physical status of the players, considering that they haven’t had much training since lockdown was lifted. Hopefully, Milan will be well-prepared for the game next Friday evening.
