Sky: Milan serious about landing Brazil U20 international with €5m bid ready

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to close a deal for Santos striker Kaio Jorge ahead of the expiry of his contract and will soon launch a bid, according to a report.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to turn 40 during the next season and after the arrival of the 34-year-old Olivier Giroud, virtually every major source is reporting that Milan want a third striker who is younger to complete the department and grow behind two experienced players with trophy-laden careers.

According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Kaio Jorge of Santos continues to be a concrete target for Milan and the player’s deal with the Brazilian club will end on 31 December meaning he will therefore be able to leave for free in January.

The Rossoneri would like to rush through his arrival this summer rather than wait though and that is why they are willing to pay about €5m for his card. The demand from Santos is €10m.
