Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Lecce – Kalulu on the right; Rebic up front

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on Lecce tomorrow evening and Stefano Pioli seems to have a pretty good idea of what their starting XI will look like. He’s expected to make four changes compared to the Napoli game, a report claims.

Milan need to get back to winning ways in the league after two consecutive draws and tomorrow’s game is thus very important in the top-four race. Compared to the mid-week clash against Napoli, there will be some changes to the XI.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Pierre Kalulu is set to start on the right with Malick Thiaw partnering up with Fikayo Tomori in the heart of the defence. Further up the pitch, Junior Messias will replace Ismael Bennacer, with Brahim Diaz playing as the No.10 again.

Finally, Ante Rebic will be the starting striker for Milan as Olivier Giroud is struggling with pain in his calf. The Croatian desperately needs to find the back of the net after only scoring three goals this season. Hopefully, tomorrow is the day.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Rebic.

  1. Kalulu as right back is fantastic. So he can be ready to replace Calabria when need it.
Istanbul is waiting for AC Milan to pick up that trophy….

    1. Kalulu is natural right back Florenzi can play left back if need be. But believe Pioli come game time will have Theo higher up on the pitch almost like a 3-3-3-1 , Rebic although the 9 tmrw. is great on slowing down oppositions counter attack, watch for Theo with a couple of assets or a goal.
