Sky: Milan to assess Ibrahimovic’s injury – the striker risks missing three to four weeks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are fearing bad news regarding the injury sustained by Zlatan Ibrahimovic during Sunday’s win over Napoli, according to a report.

Ibrahimovic was the match-winner again as his brace either side of half-time fired the Rossoneri into a two-goal lead at the Stadio San Paolo during Sunday’s 3-1 win over Napoli.

However, there was a substantial amount of panic as the Swede did limp off later in the game with what looked like a thigh problem. He initially pulled up after a cross and tried to play on, but then collapsed in a heap and came off.

According to Sky reporter Manuele Baiocchini, Milan will perform tests on the Swede this lunchtime to understand the extent of the injury.

Zlatan risks being out for three to four weeks, the reporter adds, which means that he could in theory miss the remaining nine games before the Christmas break.
