Sky: Milan to complete loan signing of Chelsea outcast by Monday – the latest

By Isak Möller -

After confirming the signing of Soualiho Meite from Torino this evening, Milan are set to complete another loan signing to strengthen the team. The priority, as we know, has always been to sign a centre-back.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via FMCROfficial), who spoke live on Sky Italia this evening, the Rossoneri are closing in on Fikayo Tomori. The defender is set to join the Rossoneri on loan from Chelsea.

In fact, the deal is expected to be completed by Monday, per the reporter. There will be an option to buy included in the contract, though there haven’t been any confirmations on the figures of the transfer yet (between €25-30m).

Although Pierre Kalulu has done a great job at centre-back, it’s a necessary reinforcement for the defence as Milan are aiming to stay at the top of the standings. It won’t be easy, but with some new signings, they could go a long way.
